Rocky Patel event; 8/17/07
The Maduro Room continued their monthly cigar events on Friday with a Rocky Patel event! Unfortunately the Rocky Patel rep had recently resigned for another job so there was no rep in attendance! No matter. Grady and Steve did a fine job with their buy 3 get one free promotion, and with a box purchase you got a very nice Rocky Patel ashtray and cutter. You also got 5 free Rocky Patel Sungrown torpedos! I opted for a box purchase of the Edge. Technically a box of Edge is 50 cigars but in this case a box is 20 cigars. I mixed the maduro edge with a few naturals. I like the maduro the best but at times want the natural.
