Video review HERE.

This cigar is very dark but it is not a maduro. It is box pressed.

The appearance is very good and appears to be well made. It feels quote dense in the hand.

Initially there were sweet coffee notes in the spice.

After letting it sit for a minute the flavors were espresso notes with citrus and vanilla with pepper. The finish was fairly long with sweet vanilla with a touch of pepper. The cigar seems like it may get to full bodied but at this point it's medium bodied.

1 1/2 inches in the orange notes are clearly defined and they are rich. The espresso is still quite nice as well as the pepper. The finish is still one of vanilla. The orange notes are approaching a nice richness but they are not there yet. The draw is a tad firm at this point.

At the midpoint the orange notes are much richer and there are some raw almond notes taking the place of the vanilla notes on the spice. So now there is coffee, rich orange citrus and raw almonds on the spice. The finish is still one of vanilla with some lingering pepper. I like a cigar that becomes rich and this one has achieved that point.

After 2/3 there is a little more pepper evident. The draw is now quite good. The initial spice and flavors are about the same expect for the increase in pepper.

At the end of the cigar it stayed consistent. The citrus notes seemed to decline somewhat but the coffee notes remained strong and became the dominant flavor. The pepper stayed very good. The finish remained one of vanilla with some subtle tea notes. The cigar ended medium to full bodied. The richness in the spice did not achieve an amazing point but the cigar was quite enjoyable. Look for these at your local shop.
