The V is a well made cigar that is almost flawless in construction. It is also very dense

After cutting a small part of the cap the test draw was a little firm. The initial flavors were a sweet almond with decent pepper.

The flavors quickly change to orange citrus, leather and a lot of pepper.

About an inch in the cigar settled down into one of orange citrus, leather and pepper with a finish of vanilla and a touch of lingering pepper.

Just a bit further the cigar developed some richness which I really liked. The finish changed a bit. Now in addition to the vanilla there is raw almond. The finish begins with raw almonds and ends with the vanilla. That's pretty nice.

A little past halfway the cigar is now feeling full bodied and you can also feel the ligero. The ligero in this cigar is fairly sneaky. You don't really notice it until well after the cigar burns, usually around the midpoint. The cigar remains quite rich. The burn is very even.

At the end of the cigar it remained consistent. The V is a very good cigar with sneaky ligero that you can really feel. It is full bodied with a lot of flavor. These are a standard in the cigar industry.

Score: 92
