CAO releases Sinister Sam; a new twist on CAO America

From now until the limited quantity is depleted, CAO Sinister Sam (6.5” x 52, SRP per cigar is $8.50) is a small batch cigar available exclusively at cigar shops nationwide until the limited release of 2,000 boxes is sold out.

Sinister Sam features CAO America’s Connecticut Shade wrapper and broadleaf binder, powered by a new, ligero-driven blend with a touch of Columbian tobacco. The flavor is similar to CAO America, amped up with fuller-body.

Sinister Sam is complex in its construction.  The cigar is made with a Connecticut Shade wrapper predominantly, but it also features a sheath of Broadleaf. Below the large band is a cut-out star.  At the bottom of the cigar, there is the America footband, and below it is the another cut-out star of broadleaf. The result is a unique smoking experience as the smoker progresses along the cigar from shade to a shade + broadleaf overwrap, and then back to shade with a hint of broadleaf at the end.

In essence, the team at CAO deconstructed the CAO America barber pole, then reconstructed it and amped up the blend to arrive at Sinister Sam.

CAO Sinister Sam is an ideal smoke for Fourth of July and summer BBQs, and follows CAO’s Evil Santa and Angry Snowman, two small-batch blends that were extremely well-received by cigar smokers.
