New addition to SC Sit Down; Raffle for SisterCare and Cigar Family!

In addition to all the usual fun at the SC Sit Down, we'll also be holding a raffle to benefit a local charity; SisterCare, Inc., http://www.sistercare.com/ . Sistercare is a program of services for battered women and their children residing in Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Newberry and Kershaw counties in South Carolina. There are quite a lot of items that are involved with this raffle, from ashtrays to travel humidors! Lots of chances to win and help SisterCare!

We will also have a raffle for the benefit of the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, http://www.cf-cf.com/. The CFCF was developed by Carlos Fuente Jr. who was inspired by the tremendous humanitarian needs of the Dominican people as well as the incredible generosity of the CigarFamilily.com members. You can get complete info at their site. We will be raffling off a very nice humidor that was supplied by the Cigar Family. The humidor is a $140 retail price Craftsman’s Bench Kensington humidor. There are elegant maple and walnut wooden inlays on the lid of this humidor with redwood sides and a high gloss finish. Very well built. Executive Series Enhancements with IMAS® (Invisible Magnet Attachment System). Holds up to 160 cigars. 13 1/2” x 9 3/8” x 6”.

We're only 4 weeks away so make plans to be here!!!!

RNB Herf at Southend Brewery in Charlotte, NC

Great time! Saw a lot of the regular RNB's and met a few new ones! Southend Brewery was a great place to hold an event. It has very high ceilings and the menu was great! Several of the guys brought cigars to share; thanks to you all for those. I expect to see most of these folks next month at the SC Sit Down No. 4. This was a good tune-up for that!

The whole friggin' group!

Christian Eiroa meets Tiny Tim!

The Tobacco Merchant in Columbia, SC had a Camacho event on Saturday, March 4th, and I had a chance to meet Christian Eiroa of Camacho fame and Chris Harper, sales rep for Camacho. I had a great time smoking cigars and chatting with them. I'm hoping Christian and/or Chris can make one of the Sit Down's this year. Camacho cigars is one of our sponsors for this year's SC Sit Down No. 4!

Here's a pic of Grier, manager of Tobacco Merchant, Chris, Christian, and me:
