We had a beautiful day to hold the 13th edition of the Sit Down. Hemingways Saloon was again the venue for the event. They opened the doors and we had a wonderful breeze throughout the building. The fall event is what I term "the small event". The reasons vary from people attending college football games, the state fair being in town, or the fact that it was such a beautiful day and perhaps many people had other things going on. We did manage 33 people who attended. John and Phyllis again drove down from Raleigh, NC. In fact, they stayed with Connie and I last night. The one thing that made this fall event different from the others was we had a cigar sponsor. General Cigar sent 3 different cigars for the attendees to sample; Upper Cut, Hoyo de Tradicion, and Excalibur Legend. I would like to thank them for their generosity. All these cigars are available at your local shop too! Also, Sandi Turnipseed sent a sampler box of various cigars. She attended the April event and wanted to donate some cigars for the event. Thank you Sandi!
