The cigar is well made and features a triple cap.

The cigar is quite dense feeling. It has a nice feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was just a bit firm but workable. The initial flavors at light up were a tangy cedar, nice brown sugar and cinnamon, cream, dry nutmeg, and black coffee. There was a nice amount of black pepper rated at an 8. A very nice sweet start.

At the first third (38 minutes) the flavor notes are about the same as the initial assessment but now there are also leather notes. The cedar notes are still somewhat tangy but they are now a dry cedar. I still had nice brown sugar and cinnamon. The cream notes seem to have diminished. The leather notes seem to combine with the dry nutmeg. The black pepper is still good but not quite as intense as it started. The finish is nutmeg, brown sugar, light leather, and cedar with a nice amount of lingering black pepper. The cigar is medium bodied. The flavors are very nice at this point. I rated the first third at 95.

As I moved through the second third (1 hour 11 minutes) the leathery nutmeg made a huge move upward leaving the sweeter notes of cedar (no more tangy notes), brown sugar, and cinnamon decreased. The black coffee is about the same amount. The cigar is medium to full bodied. The cigar is still good but with the elevated leathery nutmeg I lowered the second third score to 92.

The cigar lasted an impressive 1 hour 39 minutes. In the final third the sweeter notes made a very slight increase. The leather nutmeg remained high and I even got some dry oak notes. The cigar reached a low grade full bodied. Even with the slight increase in the sweeter notes I did not change the score; final third score is 92. This is a good cigar overall but you will notice an increase in the leather nutmeg in the second third and all the way to the end. You can purchase these cigars HERE.

Overall Score: 93
