PLASENCIA CIGARS APPOINTS EDDY GUERRA AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL MARKETING



Plasencia Cigars, a world-renowned premium tobacco grower and maker of award-winning cigars with a tobacco tradition since 1865, proudly announces the appointment of Eddy Guerra as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, effective June 29, 2026.

In this role, Eddy will oversee the company's global marketing strategy, brand development, product positioning, consumer engagement initiatives, and international marketing efforts as Plasencia continues to strengthen its position as one of the world's most respected premium cigar brands. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Ed Bello.

Eddy brings more than 15 years of premium cigar and lifestyle marketing experience to the role. His journey into the cigar industry began through the development of high-end cigar lounges across Southeast Asia, where he discovered a passion for premium tobacco, consumer engagement, and brand building. Over the course of his career, he has held senior marketing leadership positions with respected organizations including Altadis U.S.A., Davidoff, and La Flor Dominicana.
