A new cigar shop has opened in northeast Columbia, South Carolina; Towne Centre Tobacco. It's located in the old Tobacco Merchant location at 100 Sparkleberry Road which is very close to the I-20/Clemson Road intersection. The shop is about 5 minutes off the interstate. Jon Whitley is the owner. He also has 4 other shops located in the low country; Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, North Charleston, and Hilton Head. Their hours are noon until 9pm right now. They have applied for a wine and beer permit. Once that is granted the hours will lengthen. Drop by and meet Jon or whoever is working that day. You now have another alternative for your cigar shopping in Columbia.
