Video review HERE.
Miami Cigar Bundles is located in Miami, Florida and has an assortment of bundled cigars in various strengths and sizes. Today I am reviewing the Habano blend in the torpedo.
The cigar is well made and the cap is finished with a very sharp point. I love this look of a torpedo. The color is a medium brown.
The cigar has a nice density as you can see.
The test draw after cutting about 1/4 inch from the tip was very good. The initial flavors were sweet pink grapefruit and roasted nuts. The finish was a combination of sweet cream and roasted nuts. The pepper is a white pepper rated at a 7.
About 1 inch in the pink grapefruit notes now have some nutmeg to go along with it. The roasted nuts is still quite prominent. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is unchanged. The combination of pink grapefruit and nutmeg is very nice on the front end.
At the midpoint the burn is perfect. This cigar does not taste like an inexpensive bundled cigar. The flavors have not changed but the roasted nuts are almost the lead flavor. The sweeter flavors are now, in order of prominence, nutmeg and pink grapefruit. The finish has a little more sweet cream to roasted nuts and there is just a touch of lingering white pepper.
At the end I lost a little of the nutmeg notes but you still have the sweet pink grapefruit notes. The roasted nuts are still heavy. The white pepper remained very good. The finish is unchanged. The burn is still almost dead perfect. This is an impressive bundled cigar. It surprised me a little. I like Nicaraguan cigars and love to try new ones and this cigar is a very good Nicaraguan cigar. Plus, the price point is fantastic! You can try these cigars by going HERE.
