Richmond, VA—General Cigar announced that effective today, Vice President of Marketing Alan Willner is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
Régis Broersma, president, said, “Since joining the company in 2011, Alan has contributed to the success of our portfolio of brands and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
Régis continued, “I will provide day-to-day leadership of the marketing team. Change is always uncomfortable, but with this change I have great confidence in the team to drive the business forward. Our strategy and brands are strong, and we are well positioned to take General Cigar to the next level. It’s time to release the company’s full potential.”
