(Description taken from Halfwheel.com website)
This is the third size in the Flor del Valle Sky Flower line, as it was first offered in a 5 5/8 x 48 corona vitola when it was released in April 2015. In July 2016, a second vitola was added, a 5 1/2 x 52 robusto that was released as an exclusive to Corona Cigar Co. in Orlando, Fla., which happened to be where the original Sky Flower debuted in 2015. That original size would get re-releases in both 2017 and 2019.
As for the blend, it is a Nicaraguan puro, with a corojo 99 wrapper, a binder of undisclosed varietal, and corojo 99 and criollo 98 fillers. It is an offshoot of the company’s Flor del Valle line, adding medio tiempo leaf, a higher priming of tobacco not found on every plant and known for adding some distinctive strength and flavor. The line is made at AGANORSA Leaf’s Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The cigar is nicely made and has a very good feel in the hand for a lancero.
Note: I have sampled 3 other cigars and 2 out of 3 had severe draw issues. I received these cigars on January 11th so today's sample has been sitting in my humidor at 62% humidity for a month. I am hopeful this sample will draw well.
After cutting the cap the test draw was not good. So I used my PerfecDraw tool to try to open the draw. After penetrating the cigar approximately 4 inches the draw was good enough to light but still not great. The initial flavors at light up were cedar, brown sugar, quite a bit of a thick nutmeg, light leather notes, and an earthy black coffee. There was a massive amount of black pepper initially rated at 8 1/2. A nice sweet start with plenty of lower level notes.
At the first third (36 minutes) the cigar is not burning perfectly. The cigar is basically like it started; cedar, brown sugar, nutmeg, light leather, and black coffee. The pepper has toned down to around 7 1/2. The cigar is medium to full bodied. The cigar has nice flavors but it's not overly sweet as some other Warped Cigars tend to be. The burn time is very good for a lancero. The draw is good but not great. It's still a little tight. I rated the first third 92.
As I moved through the second third (1 hour 6 minutes) the leather notes have moved up to join the large amount of nutmeg. The sweet notes have dropped. The black pepper is still around 7 1/2. The cigar is now full bodied. The finish is heavy on nutmeg, light leather, and pretty good lingering black pepper. The draw continues to be tight. I rated the second third 90.
The cigar lasted an impressive 1 hour 35 minutes. The earthiness, leather, and nutmeg continued to slowly rise taking away more of the sweeter notes. The cigar is full bodied. The black pepper was still good at 7 1/2. The finish was unchanged. The draw got better in the final third but it's a little late. I rated the final third 89.
The raw score is 90.33
I deducted 1.5 points for the bad draw.
This cigar had a tight draw in 3 out of 4 that I sampled. I would expect more for an $16 cigar.
