Drew Estate Now Shipping Nica Rustica Adobe

Nica Rustica Adobe, the second expression in Drew Estate’s value-priced Nica Rustica line, is now shipping to retailers nationwide. Introduced during the May 12 broadcast of “Freestyle Live: Special Edition,” and previewed by guests at the DE25 Exclusive Pre-Party event before the Florida Barn Smoker, Nica Rustica Adobe brings to life the soul of the lively and romantic barrios and colorful colonial houses of Estelí, Nicaragua, home to La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate.

While similar to the Nica Rustica Connecticut Broadleaf expression, Nica Rustica Adobe is spicier, made from a Habano wrapper, Brazilian binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa. The unfinished and unrefined Nica Rustica Adobe is a medium- to full-bodied stick that offers lots of spice and a bold, very long finish. Available in three sizes: Toro (6 x 52), Robusto (5 x 54) and Gordo (6 x 60), Nica Rustica Adobe is packaged in 25-count boxes that are adorned with colorful original artwork designed by Subculture Studios, which captures Estelí’s rugged, robust and rustic character. Nica Rustica Adobe’s artwork also features Estelí’s official symbol, El Brujito, an estimated 6,000-year-old petroglyph of a native shaman that was discovered on a rock atop a mountain near the city.

“Nica Rustica Adobe presents a daring adventure into the authentically rugged and rustic countryside surrounding Estelí,” says Drew Estate Founder and President, Jonathan Drew. “The spicy and bold Habano, we call ‘Adobe’ offers smokers a glimpse into the distinguished beauty and bold character of Estelí and her people. You don’t need a passport to experience Estelí ... just spark up this six-buck-chuck and you are magically transported to our proud Nicaraguan home.”

Now available at retailers nationwide, Nica Rustica Adobe presents an excellent value for all premium cigar lovers, from beginners to aficionados. Robusto has an MSRP of $129.93/box or $5.20/cigar; Toro has an MSRP of $143.93/box or $5.76/cigar; and Gordo’s MSRP is $161.93/box or $6.48/cigar.
