The cigar is well made and has an average feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was very good. Almost effortless but the cigar is not soft. The initial flavors at light up were a nice citrus, brown sugar, cinnamon, a little nutmeg, and a lot of espresso. There was black pepper rated at 7 1/2 to 8. Nice start.

At the first third (24 minutes) I had a little citrus peel creeping in. There were also some nice toffe notes, a little on the light side but noticeable. The nutmeg seems to have dropped off. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is black coffee with a hint of citrus peel with good lingering black pepper. The cigar is very dark with nice sweetness. I rated the first third 94.

Moving through the second third (47 minutes) I had a little uptick in the citrus peel. The citrus notes, brown sugar, and cinnamon are still there but the increase in citrus peel put a little damper on the experience. The toffee is subdued due to the increased citrus peel. The cigar is close to medium to full bodied. The finish is unchanged. I lowered the score to 93 with the increase in citrus peel.

The cigar lasted 1 hour 3 minutes. The citrus peel pulled back. I got more of the citrus, brown sugar, cinnamon, and toffee. The espresso is still going strong. The black pepper is now up to 8. The finish is unchanged. The cigar is medium to full bodied. I rated the final third 94. A good, dark noted cigar.

Overall Score: 93.67
