Loaisiga Infiel Connecticut Robusto (5 x 54)

Video review HERE.

(Description provided by Loaisiga Cigars)

Loaisiga Cigars is owned by Silvio Octavio Loaisiga Mendoza, who is the previous Deputy Manager at Perdomo Cigars. They have our own factory and we are making private brands for large clients in Europe.

The entire filler is from Nicaragua, with a mixture of Esteli, Jalapa and Condega tobacco.

The cigars will be available in December, 2023.

Their cigars come in 6 sizes:

Corona, 5 1/2x42

Robusto, 5 x 54 (REVIEWED TODAY)

Toro, 6 x 54

Churchill, 7 x 54

Torpedo, 6 1/2 x 54

Toro Gordo, 6 x 60

Connecticut Robusto

5 x 54

Wrapper: Ecuadorian

Binder/filler: Nicaraguan

The cigar is golden brown and has a nice feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was good. The initial flavors at light up were citrus peel, brown sugar, cinnamon, and leathery black coffee. There was black pepper rated at 7 1/2-8. Pretty good start.

At the first third (23 minutes) the leathery black coffee is moving up, just like it did with the sun grown toro. I still had the citrus peel with brown sugar and cinnamon but it's decreased due to the rising leathery black coffee. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish has a hint of citrus peel and a little leather with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar is good with nice notes. I rated the first third 93.

As I moved through the second third (46 minutes) the leathery black coffee continues to rise. The sweet notes are suffering. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is leathery black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar lost a bit. I rated the second third 91.

The cigar lasted 1 hour. The leathery black coffee continued to rise. The citrus peel came out a little more but the brown sugar and cinnamon didn't come with it. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is a hint of citrus peel and leathery black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. Not much in the way of sweet notes right now. I rated the final third 89. Look for these to be available in late December.

Overall Score: 91

I do not sell cigars. I only review them. You will have to find a company online who ships to Mexico.
