Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust presents the nationwide launch of the Red Meat Lovers Club, which began as a store exclusive for Smoke Inn in South Florida in 2019 but quickly garnered a following by smokers across the country and beyond.

For its national release, two new vitolas—the Filet Mignon and Porterhouse—have been added, bringing the total to four, all of which are regular production sizes:

The Red Meat Lovers Club blend features a Connecticut-grown broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés Negro binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. The line is produced at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) in Estelí.

The cigar is dark and well made. The foot is closed. The cigar has an average feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was a sweet, tart apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, chewy nutmeg, and light black coffee. There was black pepper rate at 8. Nice start.

At the first third (30 minutes) the only change is an increase in black coffee. The cigar is medium to full bodied. The finish is apple with some nutmeg and very good lingering black pepper. The cigar is very good and a little deceiving. It's so dark you might think there would be a lot of dark notes but there aren't. The black pepper is still very good. I rated the first third 94.

Moving through the second third (1 hour 10 minutes) not much had changed again. There are hints of toffee, there's a little more black coffee, and there's a little more black pepper. The same flavor notes are still there. I'd call the cigar full bodied. The finish is unchanged. I held the score of 94.

The cigar lasted 1 hour 37 minutes. Again, not much changed. I had the same notes. The cigar is full bodied. The finish was apple, nutmeg, and black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. This cigar is fairly consistent. It's also very good. I held the score of 94. Another very good cigar from Steve Saka and Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust.

Overall Score: 94
