Diesel is continuing its tradition of fan-inspired cigars with Diesel Tempest, a TAA exclusive.
To produce a full-bodied and complex cigar, Diesel teamed up with AJ Fernandez to craft Tempest.
“The Diesel story continues to be written, not by us, but by the Diesel retailers and the fans of the brand who shop in their stores,” said Diesel brand manager Justin Andrews, “They’ve been as supportive as they have been vocal, and they didn’t pull any punches when it came to telling us what they wanted for the TAA exclusive cigar this year.”
Diesel Tempest is crafted with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a filler blend hailing from Nicaragua and Honduras. The cigar is full-bodied, as is the signature of Nicaraguan blends made by AJ Fernandez.
“Fans asked for a full-bodied Nicaraguan smoke that balances strength and complexity with a little something extra, and we delivered,” Andrews continued. “Following up on the success of the Diesel Atonement from years past, we came out with another great chapter in the Diesel saga. It’s our way of letting Diesel retailers and fans know that our story is their story, and it’s a bold one. “
Tempest is available in a unique box styled after a book to give fans and TAA retailers a tangible piece of the Diesel story.
This powerhouse is available in a Toro (6 X 52) Vitola. Only 1000 boxes will be made, with each containing ten cigars at an MSRP of $10.99 per cigar or $109.90 for a box. Diesel Tempest is handmade at AJ Fernandez’s factory in Nicaragua. The cigars began shipping to retailers the week of October 21.
