Aging Room’s Quattro Nicaragua brand is getting its third blend.
At the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Altadis U.S.A.—which distributes Aging Room—will show off the new Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto. The blend is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco including a hybrid criollo 98 wrapper grown in Estelí and filler tobaccos from the first harvest of AJ Fernandez’s Los Espejos farm.
It will be offered in six vitolas, all of which are box-pressed:
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Espressivo (5 x 50) — $14.84 (Box of 10, $148.40)
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Maestro (6 x 52) — $14.95 (Box of 10, $149.50/Box of 20, $299) REVIEWED TODAY
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Vibrato (6 x 54) — $15.08 (Box of 10, $150.80)
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Concerto (7 x 50) — $15.23 (Box of 10, $152.30)

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Impromptu (6 x 52) — $17.08 (Box of 10, $170.80)
“The Concerto, inspired by classical music compositions, represents a harmonious collaboration between a solo instrument and orchestral accompaniment,” said Rafael Nodal, co-owner of Aging Room and vp of product capability at Tabacalera USA, in a press release. “In this blend, the ‘solo instrument’ is the exclusive hybrid wrapper from one of AJ Fernandez’s most exclusive farms, Finca La Lilia, and the selected extra-aged tobaccos represent the accompaniment to create a Concerto of flavors.”
Like the original Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua and Quattro Sonata, the new Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto is made by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua.
The cigar is nicely made and box pressed. It has an average feel in the hand.
The test draw after cutting the cap was good. The initial flavors at light up were a tangy, sweet orange citrus, brown sugar, a little cinnamon, earthiness, a little leather, and black coffee. There was black pepper rated at 7 1/2 to 8. Very nice start.
At the first third (18 minutes) the ash was still intact. The notes were sweet, somewhat tangy, orange citrus, light caramel notes with brown sugar, a little cinnamon, a little leather, some earthiness, and black coffee. The black pepper is still very close to 8. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar is very good. I rated the first third 96.
As I moved through the second third (37 minutes) nothing much has changed. The cigar continues to rock along with the same fantastic flavors. Still medium bodied. The finish is unchanged. I held the score of 96. No need to change. Very good cigar.
The cigar lasted 1 hour 8 minutes. In the final third the black coffee rose a little causing the sweet notes to decrease. It made enough of a difference I lowered the final third to 95. Not bad but noticeable. The cigar is still medium bodied. The finish is unchanged. Not much negative. This is a fantastic cigar and should be on your list. I am also interested in some of the other sizes and will be trying those. I don't expect them to be any better or worse; just curious. Look for these. Great cigar.
