Leading USA Cigar Company Announces Two Changes to Key Leadership Roles

To strengthen its independent business units and to deliver innovative premium cigars and excellent customer service to both wholesale and retail trading partners and adult consumers, Tabacalera USA is making some key leadership changes.

Javier Estades, President & CEO of Tabacalera USA, responsible for leading premium cigar operations in the United States for the company (including Altadis U.S.A., JR Cigar and Casa de Montecristo), announced the following:

Brad Winstead has been named CEO of Casa de Montecristo and Santa Clara. He has served the company with distinction for more than 18 years. He first joined Altadis U.S.A. as a Territory Manager in 2007. Between company owned stores and licensed-based partnerships, Casa de Montecristo has more than 20 cigar stores and lounges. Santa Clara Cigars is one of the largest online wholesalers of tobacco products in the country, selling both tobacco products and accessories to licensed tobacco retailers. Prior to this move, Brad Winstead was CEO of JR Cigar.

Nicolas Maslowski, who was Chief Operating Officer of E-Commerce for JR Cigar, has now been named CEO of JR Cigar. Nicolas has more than 20 years’ experience in consumer goods and other diverse industries. JR Cigar is the ultimate online cigar retail experience, innovating each step of the consumer experience with its online stores and digital platforms. JR Cigar’s ecommerce websites attract over 100,000 unique users each month and are the premier online retailers for the best cigar deals and products.

“When it comes to the leadership, these moves reflect not just the success and versatility of these leaders, but the spirit and character of our entire organization,” Estades said.  Delivering innovative premium cigars, exciting new programs and excellent customer service to our trade partners and adult consumers is our priority. It starts at the top and runs throughout our entire organization.”
