Invisible Man from NECM (5 x 52)

Video review HERE.

(Description provided by Kevin Parow)

This is a 5 x 52 Robusto with a Mexican San Andres wrapper, Habano binder, and Nicaraguan filler from Ometepe, Jalapa, and Esteli.

These should be available in April, 2026.

The cigar is dark and well made. It has an average to nice feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was good with some firmness. The initial flavors at light up were pear, citrus, brown sugar, tanned leather, and light black coffee. There is some tanginess in the citrus. Think sweet tart. There was black pepper rated at 7 1/2. Nice start.

At the first third (18 minutes) the pear has dropped off but the citrus notes are nice. There's brown sugar and some richness in the sweet notes. There was still tanned leather and the black coffee is starting to rise. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar is quite tasty. The richness is very nice. I rated the first third 96.

Moving through the second third (36 minutes) the black coffee has risen quite a bit. There is also some earthiness. The leather is light. The sweet notes have dipped and they are not rich. The cigar is medium bodied, leaning toward medium to full. The finish is citrus and brown sugar with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar lost some. I rated the second third 93.

The cigar lasted 1 hour. The sweet notes rose some and the earthiness dipped. The black coffee pulled back. The cigar is medium to full bodied. The finish is black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar improved to a score of 94 for the final third. This is a good cigar and look for these on their website: beyondthecigar.com

Overall Score: 94.33
