Tabacos Mata Fina importer Wesley R. Gensel has announced the opening of the US office located in Vero Beach, Florida. The office is located on the famed Indian River coastline and is the new home for all US distribution and sales functions. "This office opens a new chapter for Tabacos Mata Fina" said Gensel, "The new office will allow us to better serve our existing customers and continue to expand the Monte Pascoal brand across the US."
Brand owner Lorenzo Orsi stated "This office represents a milestone in the growth of Monte Pascoal and Tabacos Mata Fina, Mr. Gensel has worked hard to establish Monte Pascoal in the US market and we expect continued growth and success from this office." Mr. Orsi was visiting the office for the first time this past week and invited Cigar Journal for a tour of the new facility.
Mr. Gensel reported to Cigar Journal that Monte Pascoal is now available in 30 states and growing.
The Monte Pascoal line is available in six sizes beginning with the Minuto (4 3/8 x 42), the Petite Robusto (4 x 50), Robusto (4 7/8 x 50), Corona (5 5/8 x 42), Belicoso (5 1/2 x 52) and a Double Corona (7 5/8 x 49). Each size features a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper and binder with Mata Fina and Mata Norte filler.
