With the cruise ships in port on Wednesday and Thursday this week we decided to NOT be in town while they were here. So, today we decided to check out Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Tomorrow we'll go to Dunns River Falls.
The cab ride downtown was cheap enough; $25 round trip for 2 couples. We tipped the guy $5, so the total was $30. After arriving at Margaritaville Connie got right to work being silly!
Well, so did I!

Since the cruise ships were not in town we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Notice in the background that no one is sitting at the tables. When the cruise ships are in town the place is packed!

The only beer they served at the resort was Red Stripe and Connie went through a lot of it. I told her she HAD to have her picture taken in front of this sign!

Except for the beautiful resort this is pretty much real Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Lots of very poor conditions but everyone was friendly.
The parrot that was just outside our room at Sans Souci. I was told he could laugh and say a few words. He never talked for me but that didn't stop me from trying!
