The cigar is well made and rather dense feeling.

The test draw after cutting the cap was very good. The initial flavors were sweet grapefruit citrus, vanilla, and a lot of black pepper, which I rate at an 8. There is another flavor at the base which appears to be leather but I need to let it sit for a minute.

About 3/4" in the flavors settled down into a semi-sweet grapefruit citrus, vanilla, and leather. At times I seemed to get oak but I am reserving that flavor until it's verified a few more times. The finish is sweet cream with vanilla notes and some lingering pepper. The pepper can really be felt when retro haled! This cigar seems to have all the traits of a Nicaraguan Habano at this point.

At the band I got nutmeg notes. This happens quite often with Nicaraguan Habanos. The grapefruit citrus changes to one of nutmeg. The vanilla notes are still there and combine nicely with the nutmeg. At this point the leather notes are much more prominent. The pepper seems to have decreased to a 6 1/2 or 7. The finish is still one of a semi-sweet cream with some nice lingering pepper. The cigar is medium bodied.

At the end of the cigar the citrus notes came back to a degree. There was still nutmeg notes and light vanilla to go along with them. The leather notes remained quite good, as well as the pepper. This cigar could have had some richness and a little more sweetness but all in all it's a good, basic Nicaraguan Habano cigar. Check their website to see what retailers have their cigars. Again, this is a good Nicaraguan cigar with all the flavors of a good Habano cigar.
