Arandoza Cigars is a new company established in April, 2011.The owner is Robert Arango. They have a new blend which was released about five months ago called Blue Label. Their cigars are manufactured in Nicaragua at La Zona factory, owned and operated by Erik Espinosa. The Blue Label consists of:
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Average price: Between $6 and $7 each.
Available in 4 sizes:
Robusto 5 x 52 (Reviewed today)
Toro 6 x 52
Torpedo 6 x 52
6 x 60
The cigar is well made and rather dense feeling.
The test draw after cutting the cap was very good. The initial flavors were sweet grapefruit citrus, vanilla, and a lot of black pepper, which I rate at an 8. There is another flavor at the base which appears to be leather but I need to let it sit for a minute.

At the end of the cigar the citrus notes came back to a degree. There was still nutmeg notes and light vanilla to go along with them. The leather notes remained quite good, as well as the pepper. This cigar could have had some richness and a little more sweetness but all in all it's a good, basic Nicaraguan Habano cigar. Check their website to see what retailers have their cigars. Again, this is a good Nicaraguan cigar with all the flavors of a good Habano cigar.
Score: 88
