The Romeo by Romeo y Julieta Aging Room Small Batch F25 is a collaboration between Altadis USA and Boutique Blends Cigars. The cigar is produced at Boutique Blends’ manufacturing partner Tabacalera Palma. The Romeo by Romeo y Julieta Aging Room Small Batch F25 is a Dominican puro and features tobaccos from the Cibao Valley. The tobaccos come from two farms in that valley – La Canela and Jacagua. The F25 designation on the band refers to “Friday, the 25th day of the year” as for when the blend was created .

The Romeo by Romeo y Julieta Aging Room Small Batch F25 will have three sizes. They will be packaged in boxes of 20 and sold between $10..00 – $12.00 range. Production is being capped at 250,000 cigars total.

The cigar is a dark brown and very well made with an oily wrapper. It feels dense in the hand.
The test draw after cutting the cap was very good. The initial flavors were sweet marshmallow, cinnamon, leather, touch of earthiness, and black pepper rated at an 8. The cigar is medium bodied at the outset. The finish is one of a toasted cream with a touch of leather and some nice lingering black pepper.
About 1 inch or so in the flavors are about like they were when we began. There is now a touch of richness in the form of butter. The cigar is medium to full bodied. The cigar is indeed burning rather slowly. The finish is about the same.
At the band the flavors have not changed much, if any. The cigar is rather consistent. Still medium to full bodied.
With 2 inches remaining the cigar is still close to unchanged. The leather notes are more prominent now. The cinnamon is decreased, as well as the earthiness. It remains medium to full bodied.
The cigar ended pretty much unchanged. However, the cinnamon notes came back more prominent at the end. This has been a good cigar but not at the level of the M356 from Aging Room that I reviewed a couple years ago.

I got to tell you Jordan, it sounds pretty weird, I know, but that's what it reminds me of; sweet marshmellow flavor. Interesting flavor, nonetheless. Try it and see for yourself.
