Outcast Robusto (5 x 50)

Video review HERE.

(Description provided by Outcast Cigars)

Representing a new voice in the premium cigar world, Outcast Cigars is now shipping to retailers. Outcast is a brand built for those who defy the norm, embrace boldness, and live on their own terms.

Crafted with a rebellious spirit and an eye for the uncommon, Outcast Cigars features a rare Brazilian Cubra wrapper, a hybrid of Cuban-seed Corojo often called Brazilian Habano. Paired with a spicy Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and premium Dominican filler, the result is a complex, smooth, and unforgettable smoke with notes of cedar, hay, and chocolate.

More than just a cigar, Outcast is a statement. Created for those who lead rather than follow, each cigar embodies independence, innovation, and a fearless pursuit of the extraordinary.

“Outcast is for those who want to forge their own path and that message resonated with retailers at the PCA. We created this cigar for those who defy the norm and embrace the journey less traveled,” says Jason Wood Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Miami Cigar & Co., “Bold and unapologetic is the best way to describe Outcast. Outcast Cigars isn’t just a smoke; it’s a statement."

Outcast Cigars will be available in four bold sizes, each packaged in sleek 10-count boxes:

Blend Profile

Wrapper: Brazilian Cubra

Binder: Ecuadorian Sumatra

Filler: Dominican Republic

The cigar is dark and has an average feel in the hand.

The test draw after cutting the cap was good. The initial flavors at light up were quite different; marshmallow nougat, brown sugar, orange citrus, and black coffee. There was black pepper rated at 7 1/2. Nice start. Different start.

At the first third (20 minutes) the notes were the same. The 3 sweet notes are combining nicely. The black coffee makes a nice base. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is marshmallow nougat with good lingering black pepper. The cigar is very nice. I rated the first third 93.

As I moved through the second third (40 minutes) I had the same notes and they're mixing well but the intensity of the sweet notes has gone up. The black coffee has fallen back a little. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is marshmallow nougat with a little black coffee with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar got better. I rated the second third 94.

The cigar lasted 1 hour 6 minutes. The intensity of the sweet notes went even higher. They exploded. The black coffee is quite subtle. The sweet notes of marshmallow nougat, brown sugar, and citrus are very nice. This is a very surprising and impressive cigar. I rated the final third 96. These are new and I highly recommend trying them. They may very well surprise you too.

Overall Score: 94.33
