The cigar is dark and box pressed. It has a nice feel in the hand.
The test draw after cutting the cap was good with some firmness. The initial flavors at light up, which came very quickly were a buttery apricot, brown sugar, cinnamon, and light chocolate. There was black pepper rated at 7. Pretty good start.
At the first third (25 minutes) the chocolate is much more pronounced. The chocolate is coming across as a dark chocolate with sweetness. The other notes are still there. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is chocolate with very good lingering black pepper. The cigar has nice notes. I rated the first third 94.
As I moved through the second third (53 minutes) the chocolate is coming out a little more. In fact, there is a little more dark chocolate now than the sweet notes. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is unchanged. The cigar is very consistent so far. I held the score of 94.
The cigar lasted 1 hour 25 minutes. Consistent. This cigar is consistent. What you get at the start is what you'll have. Nice apricot, brown sugar, cinnamon, and dark chocolate. There are some buttery notes on the apricot for the first third to two thirds of the cigar. The cigar is medium bodied. The finish is chocolate with very good lingering black pepper.
